We love brands that want to do something very different from others in their industry. We helped Tatty Issues with the brand naming. We knew the identity and brand was going to be very tongue in cheek. We had a list of names to work on and felt Tatty Issues was a play on words that fit the brand’s personality perfectly. When researching the tattoo industry and direct competitors in their area, there were lots of skulls, roses, guns, you name it for logos and identities. We went the opposite direction and focused all our attention on the people they want sitting in their chairs and how they would love to be spoken to. Down to the very last detail in their signage, everything was made to reflect the playful, cheeky, unapologetic personality of the studio.
